Your sales team is an integral part of your company because they help you generate profits. This is why it’s important to keep them driven and motivated so you can meet your sales target and business goals. If you’re looking for an effective way to keep your sales team motivated, look no further than your own CRM. Zoho CRM allows you to transform your sales funnel into an interactive game for your sales team where they can compete with each other. How, you ask? Through its unique custom function: Gamescope.

Gamescope is designed to make sales more fun and exciting for your sales team. You can utilise it in two ways: by letting sales people compete with each other or by letting them compete with themselves. By using Gamescope, you can enjoy the following benefits:

Increased performance

Sales teams are competitive by nature. Games provide an excellent platform to encourage and direct that competitive drive. This is why Gamescope was created to increase sales team performance by increasing engagement.

Motivation

A bit of friendly competition is a great way to motivate your team to work harder and sell more. By having access to tools that allow them to keep track and measure their progress and performance, employees would be inspired to do their best and actively seek ways to improve their skills and performance.

Everyone wins

While Gamescope inspires competition among the member of your sales team, everyone, from the players to the sales managers and the company as a whole, is a winner at the end of the day. It is because the more games people win, the more badges they earn and the more sales they will make.

To create a game with Gamescope, take note of the following steps:

    • Step 1

Click on the Gamescope button found on the top right section of your CRM page and then click on the green New Game button. This will bring you to the Create a Game page.

    • Step 2

Choose between an individual game and a group game according to the type of game you want to create. Then click on Add to select the participants who will play the game. Afterwards, choose when you want the game to start by clicking on the drop down menu box. You’ll have three options to choose from: Now allows you to start the game immediately, Today enables you to start the game at any given time on the same day, and Custom lets you choose the date or time you like. Don’t forget to pick a date and time for the game to end.

    • Step 3

You have the option to repeat the game you created. You can leave the box unchecked if you don’t want to repeat the game or you can click on the tick box if you want to repeat the game. If you clicked on the box, it will give you a drop down menu for how often you’d want to repeat the game and how long it would run.

    • Step 4

Finally, give the game a name. Click on the blue Save button and you’re done.

Congratulations! You can now use the game to inspire some friendly competition among your sales people and subtly encourage them to do their best.
